Kenyon Signs Memorandum of Understanding with HEBCoN
7 October 2013 | Kenyon International Emergency Services
Kenyon International Emergency Services is pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the Higher Education Business Continuity Network (HEBCoN), a forum which brings together the business continuity community of universities and research institutions of the United Kingdom.
HEBCoN's mission is to promote and enhance the ability of Higher Education Institutions to identify and manage their risks, withstand and respond to disruptive events; maintaining the delivery of critical services to students through the sharing and promotion of best practice in risk management, emergency planning and business continuity.
Based on this partnership with Kenyon, HEBCoN members can qualify for preferred rates for specific Kenyon services. HEBCoN officials added, “Should your institution have a major incident with global media coverage it is easy to imagine the flood of incoming calls from concerned parents, relatives, sponsors and others seeking information. On top of an already stressful situation this would be difficult to manage well, yet your institutions reputation could depend on how well these calls are managed. With many years of experience in this field, Kenyon is able to manage such situations on behalf of the institution.”
