12 Principles of Crisis Management with Novair

Kenyon Associate Mike Seear presented the 12 Principles of Crisis Management to a group of 20 executives and management staff from Novair in Stockholm, Sweden. Staff included the CEO and all those who have a key role in their emergency response organization.
As part of an introduction to Kenyon's services, Mike covered in detail the importance of considering external resources such as their ground handling companies and the tour operator who provides for their passengers when considering their emergency response plan. Mike kept the focus on ‘joint operations’ and a need to exercise and operate ‘communication interfaces’ with all these vital assets.
In the afternoon, Mike provided an introduction to the 12 Principles of Crisis Management, Kenyon's cornerstone of crisis management planning. They were very interested in the concepts of the Crisis Management Center and Incident Management Center, creating an excellent opportunity for real-world examples and a lot of interaction. The Novair staff expressed the importance of training exercises/drills and plans to incorporate Kenyon, their tour operator partner and ground-handling company in future exercises.
