Kenyon Hosts Aviation Accident Response and Management Workshop for Arab Air Carriers' Organisation
3 December 2018 | Amman, Jordan
Kenyon's Robert A. Jensen, Simon Hardern and Mazen Bekdash hosted an Aviation Accident Response and Management workshop in Amman, Jordan, which was sponsored by the Arab Air Carriers' Organisation (AACO).
Participants were put through an Input Response Exercise based on a recent, real-life Kenyon-supported response. The aim of the exercise was to take participants through the accident and build-up their level of understanding of some of the key elements of accident response and management from a practical perspective. Kenyon wanted participants to explore the thought processes and subsequent actions to consider beyond the normal and traditional checklist response; operating with imperfect information, participants would feel able to use the knowledge gained to think and act with agility and flexibility in their own organisation.
Attendees included key personnel from Emirates, Ethiad, MEA, Oman Air, Royal Jordanian and Saudi Arabian Airlines, Kuwait Airways, Air Arabia and Afriqiyah.
While in Amman, Mazen had the opportunity to visit Jordan Aviation's team on 4 December to discuss the latest interesting developments in Kenyon and the benefits to Clients. Mazen had a facility tour at Jordan Aviation's facilities including the maintenance hangar.
