KENYON PRESIDENT RETIRES
Houston, January 1, 2015 – After fourteen years of excellent leadership, Jerry Novosad, President of Kenyon International Emergency Services, retired at the end of December 2014.
"Since he joined Kenyon in 2000, I have very much enjoyed and personally benefitted from working closely with Jerry. He has been a friend and valuable asset for Kenyon," said Kenyon CEO Robert Jensen. "We are very fortunate that he has chosen to remain available to the company as a consultant and responder. In the interim, we hope that he will find the time to enjoy the Texas outdoors and still be connected as needed."
Jerry served as Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, and finally President, assuming corporate management responsibilities in 2011. During his time at Kenyon, Jerry participated in over 85 responses to mass fatalities, which include aviation accidents, natural disasters, and terrorist attacks. Additionally, Jerry was instrumental in forming what is now the Kenyon International Call Center, a critical service not only for Kenyon clients, but also for families affected by incident.
Today's Kenyon is the world's leader in providing crisis management services, thanks in part to Jerry's experience and leadership.
"During my time at Kenyon, I’ve grown to admire two groups of people," Jerry shared. "First are the families affected by the tragedies that Kenyon has deployed to during my tenure. They were going through something that no human being should have to endure and their courage was oh so impressive. The second group are the Kenyons – the full-timers, Team Members, and associates – that I’ve had the pleasure of working with over these past fourteen-plus years. It has been an honor to work with you.”
Jerry will continue to provide crisis leadership, crisis management, and emergency planning consulting services as part of Kenyon’s world-class team of Associates.
