Important Legislation Issued in Spain
1 September 2013 | Kenyon International Emergency Services
A Spanish Royal Decree (632-2013) issued on 3 August 2013 regulates the care for victims of civil aviation accidents and their family members. This standard aims to improve coordination among stakeholders, creating a more effective model of required services. This new standard was developed by contributions from regional civil protection authorities, relevant ministries, airlines, airports as well as the participation of the Association of Victims of Crash of Spanair JK5022.
Kenyon applauds the efforts of the Spanish governments to provide such important response objectives. This type of legislation respects the victims and ensures that their families are equitably and properly cared for. Kenyon will do all it can to work with associated air carriers as they implement the new regulations.
