Originally from the United Kingdom, Irene Payne is now based in Nevada, USA. She has extensive communication experience in crisis management, particularly in relation to firearms incidents in educational settings. She has worked with a wide variety of clients developing communications plans using a process and strategy-based approach for identifying and responding to a crisis event.
Working with first responders, Irene has in the field experience of handling significant weather and wildfire emergencies. She is a regular speaker at senior level events across the USA.
Irene was the recipient of the national 'Leadership Through Communication' award from the American Association of School Administration and the National School Public Relations Professionals Association. Additionally, Irene has worked in India, Pakistan (representing the British Government) and Europe, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Communications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom.
