As Vice President, Crisis Communications at Kenyon, Susan leads the global crisis communications team, overseeing strategy and training, client relations, and the development of service offerings. With more than 25 years of expertise in risk and crisis management and communications strategy, she has prepared and guided organizations in highly regulated industries through critical moments to safeguard their reputations.
Susan’s career includes significant leadership roles in the aviation industry, where she had global responsibility for public relations and crisis communications for Emirates Airline & Group of 50+ subsidiary companies in Dubai, as well as for aviation IT leader SITA, based in Geneva. She has also directed global communications and reputation management for PwC, Tyson Foods, and Herbalife. Her extensive cross-cultural experience, gained from living and working across the US, Europe, and the Middle East, further enhances her ability to offer strategic guidance in issues and crisis management to Kenyon’s diverse, global clientele.
She joined Kenyon in 2020 as Associate Director, Crisis Communications, advising clients on crisis preparedness and leading media relations and crisis training. In January 2024, she became co-Vice President, Crisis Communications, before becoming Vice President in September 2024.
Susan holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Arizona State University.
