Based in Helsinki, Tom has spent his entire life in the aviation industry. For more than a decade, he was the principal emergency-spokesperson for an airline, working on five major accidents, two of them involving mass fatalities, and regards his experience on the front line as being of high value in training and advising clients. He is known for his strong focus on the loved ones of those who have been lost in accidents, seeking to support them through the often deeply uncomfortable media scrutiny that follows an aviation incident, even flying with the families of the deceased to and from the accident site to ensure they are protected.
He joined Kenyon's Crisis Communications team in 2012 and since then has trained aviation, airport and oil & gas clients across the world and has been a trusted adviser to clients during incidents.
Tom is multi-lingual and is fluent in English, German, Scandinavian and Finnish.
