Air Partner, a Wheels Up company, has appointed Jonathan Astill as Executive Vice President of its Services Division comprising of Baines Simmons, Redline Assured Security, and Kenyon Emergency Services. The new role holds overall responsibility of the three companies, with respective Managing Directors Ian Holder, Paul Mason and Conor Prendergast reporting to Jonathan.
Bringing over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, Jonathan’s appointment is a strategic investment in Air Partner's Services Division, positioning the company for future growth. Jonathan previously held senior positions at NATS (formerly National Air Traffic Services), Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) and Aireon after beginning his career as an air traffic controller.
As a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, the highest membership grade attainable, Jonathan has a deep understanding of the aviation industry, its safety culture and the wider aviation ecosystem. Heading up the Services Division, Jonathan will help Air Partner continue to innovate and deliver exceptional services to its customers, further strengthening the group’s position as a leading global aviation solutions provider.
