Kevin Curreri is promoted to Managing Director of Kenyon Emergency Services and Air Evacuation

We’re pleased to announce that Kevin Curreri has been promoted to Managing Director for Kenyon Emergency Services and Air Evacuation. Kenyon are world leaders in disaster management with over 118 years of experience, responding to over 350 fatal and non-fatal international incidents. Air Evacuation specialise in providing contingency planning and response for air evacuations, offering full aviation support for any emergency situation.

As Managing Director, Kevin has global accountability for the strategy and P&L performance of Kenyon and Air Evacuation. He also has full strategic and operational responsibility for Crisis Management and Disaster Response within Kenyon. In this vital leadership role, Kevin works with Kenyon’s clients, including Government agencies, emergency services, local authorities, and major corporations, across the globe to ensure that the response to crises and emergencies is focused on achieving the best outcomes for those affected at their most difficult time. 

Kevin joined Kenyon in April 2024 as Vice President of Global Response and has extensive first-hand experience.  In his previous role as Director of Operations for Control Risks’ Confidential Crisis Response Department, Kevin managed a team of specialist consultants to advise clients on the resolution of kidnap, piracy, detention, disappearance, threat, and extortion incidents. He previously served with the United Nations (UN) in Somalia as a key member of the UN Hostage Management Programme, managing responses to the kidnapping of UN staff members and their dependants throughout the world.  He also had responsibility for security operations, justice sector development and risk management for the United Nations in Somalia.  He began his career in law enforcement serving as a senior police officer in both the United States and Australia with his last role being the Head of the Queensland Police Service’s Hostage and Crisis Negotiation Unit in Australia.

He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Crisis Negotiations from Charles Sturt University (Australia) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Colorado State University (USA).
